About me
Hi! I’m Javier Fernández, musician, educator, and founder of the Spanish Through Music Program.
I teach Spanish to children in the United States through music, rhythm, and play, creating fun and meaningful learning experiences.
With a background in jazz performance and a master’s degree in music education, I’ve developed a unique approach that blends musical creativity with language immersion. Each class invites children to sing, move, and connect, helping them build confidence in Spanish in a natural and engaging way.
My goal is for children to not only learn vocabulary and pronunciation, but also develop a genuine love for the language while discovering culture and self-expression through the power of music.
